This is incredibly embarrassing to admit, but I don't think I have much of a choice any longer – I believe I am being haunted by the fifteen-year-old ghost of myself.
As a teenager, I believed many things were true of myself and what my life would turn out to be. I'm glad to say things turned out much, much better, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like my past has caught wind of that yet.
When my personal site went down six months ago, it felt like a seam was torn between me and him. I haven't had a full night's sleep since: my old, melodramatic poetry roars in my veins and keeps me wide awake. I've also had a hard time concentrating on anything in my future for some reason, like, I'm getting married this winter but when I think about it, the date feels further and further away, like it's escaping me.
Is that normal with these kinds of hauntings?
Anyway, I'm sharing the URL to my old homepage here, with the understanding that you folks have ways of reaching across the digital veil to access websites that are long gone. Apologies in advance for what I thought was the height of web design in 2001:
lonewolfstears.anglefyre.com
If you can do anything about my data/ghost, I hope you can at the very least be kind to him. He needed that.
Thanks - Ian
